Emergency Life Support

This course is designed for those people wanting the ability to calmly and safely handle an Emergency situation within everyday life, it is designed around the Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines and includes both theory and practical sessions.

Emergency First Aid at Work 1 Day (HSE Approved Course)

This course is ideal for people requiring Emergency First Aid at Work status, usually in small to medium low risk workplaces, or as someone to assist your current nominated First aid at work person.

6 hours training with a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence and give a greater knowledge in Basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations. This course is legally compliant with the current Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981.

First Aid at Work 3 Day (HSE Approved Course)

This course is ideal for people requiring Full First Aid at Work status, usually in medium to large premises or with higher risk workplaces, as an initial course or for someone that no longer holds a valid certificate.

3 Days comprehensive training with a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence and give a greater knowledge in Basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations.

This course is legally compliant with the current Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981. Upon successful completion of this three day course, first aiders receive certification to allow them to practise for three years after which a re-qualification course becomes necessary. It is strongly recommended that you update your skills by taking an annual refresher.

First Aid at Work 2 Day Requalification (HSE Approved Course)

This course is ideal for people who currently hold a valid Full First Aid at Work certificate and need to renew it for another 3 years.

2 Days comprehensive requalification training within a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence and give a greater knowledge in Basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations. A certificate that is valid for a period of three years is issued to students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard.

Defibrillator Training

This course is for employees that already hold a current First Aid at Work Certificate and require training in the principles and correct use of an Automatic External Defibrillator, These devices are now found more commonly in everyday areas such as supermarkets and train stations.
Research has shown that sudden cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in Europe, affecting about 700,000 individuals a year. Victims of sudden cardiac arrest can improve their survival rate by up to 75% if they are immediately attended by trained staff.

Manual Handling

Our Safe Manual Handling Techniques course is a three hour workshop aimed at people whose job involves moving things manually. It provides employees with the skills they need to decrease the risk of manual handling injuries whilst encouraging them to take responsibility for their own health and safety. This joint approach helps reduce sickness and absenteeism, insurance premiums and compensation claims which in turn improves the productivity of your business.

Safer Person Handling

Our Safer Person Handling Techniques course is a three hour workshop aimed at people whose job involves any moving and handling of people. It provides employees with the skills they need to decrease the risk of manual handling injuries whilst encouraging them to take responsibility for their own health and safety. This joint approach helps reduce sickness and absenteeism, insurance premiums and compensation claims which in turn improves the productivity of your business.

Fire Training

This course is aimed at providing employees with familiarisation of the Fire fighting equipment that is provided at their workplace. It is designed to provide delegates with the opportunity to understand the uses and limitations of equipment like Extinguishers and Fire Hoses, in addition to the general issues regarding fire safety.

Fire Marshal

This course is aimed at providing employees who have been nominated as fire marshals or fire wardens within their workplace with the knowledge and skills to carry out their duties effectively. It is designed to provide delegates with an overall awareness of the requirements and implications of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, in addition to the general issues regarding fire safety.
