Emergency Life Support

This course is designed for those people wanting the ability to calmly and safely handle an Emergency situation within everyday life, it is designed around the Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines and includes both theory and practical sessions.

This is a 1 Day training course with a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence.

The syllabus includes:

• First Aid Priorities
• Managing a situation
• Assessing and Examining a Casualty
• Unconsciousness
• Basic Life Support
• Correct Hand over to the Emergency Services
• First Aid Kits
• Control of Bleeding
• Recording & Reporting

A certificate that is valid for a period of 3 years is issued to students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard.

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no formal final examination.

Cost

£70 per person, when run at your venue. This includes certification and a manual for each student.

We will provide you with early notification of any certificate expiry dates; this allows you the convenience and time to book staff and future courses with plenty of notice.

With our extensive experience of running Emergency Services exercises we can offer mini-exercises that are designed to refresh and challenge your First Aiders. We will issue a written report identifying all of the positives and development needs.
